Last night’s Optiver Poker Tournament was a great success. The members enjoyed a nice dinner after which our sponsor Optiver gave a short presentation about the company. Two of their traders came along and joined our members in the poker tournament. They proved to be quite formidable opponents though
one of our members finally took the Trophy home.
The winner of the night was Joris Kleyheeg (CFQ). He won the Trophy, a book and a nice cash prize, all sponsored by Optiver.The runner up was Rutger Brinkhuis, one of Optiver’s traders. His cash prize and gift were awarded to the third place finisher.
Number 3 was Bianka Vossenaar (Hermes). She won a book and also a nice cash prize.
CFQ proved to be the best group of poker players with 3 of its members at the final table, one of them eventually taking home the trophy.
