It was an exciting evening last Wednesday. A lot of members participated in the pool tournament and every investment group was represented. So we can conclude that the winners didn’t win by luck only but they also played very well.

The couples were divided in two poules and they played versus every other couple in the poule. The two best couples of each group played a semifinal and the winners continued to the final.

The final was an exciting game between the oldest and the newest investment group: Borsa Valori versus Ad Infinitum. The winning team was Ad Infinitum, represented by Jelke Geerdink and Bart Coenders. Well done!
To decide who could take home the trophy, Bart and Jelke played another match and Jelke turned out to be the winner.

Wednesday we will organize the famous B&R Pool-Tournament. This year it will take place in Poolcentrum Blaak and it will start at 8.00 pm. You can participate in couples and it will be fun to see the battle between the investment groups during the pool tournament. Try to find someone within your own group to form a couple.

During the tournament we will use the official (world standardized) rules. These rules differ from the game usually played by students, so make sure you are aware of the correct rules. We have decided to organize the tournament in a respectable pool centre with high quality tables. This means that you should behave appropriately and respect the house rules. If that’s not the case you will be removed without prior warning.
