In the seminar, three experts discussed the current financial climate, the risks and opportunities for investors and what strategies or shares can provide a higher return. One of these experts is Koen Bender, owner of Mercury Asset Management, partner of B&R Beurs.

MayTielkemeijer & Partners, as previously announced, is an esteemed partner of the society. Frequently Tielkemeijer publicizes a column in his newsletter. This time there’s a column on dividend investing, which might be interesting for B&R members. If you want to hear more from Tielkemeijer you can follow him on Twitter. Tielkemeijer wrote on April 16th:
The dividend season is approaching. In the coming weeks a large number of stock listed companies will be churning out dividends. A nice bonus for investors. With such a dividend payment a piece of the profit from the particular company is handed over to the shareholders. If there has been no profit made in the past year, then the dividend will be foregone this particular year. In other words there is no profit sharing. Not always money is being payed, sometimes the stock holder receives the right to extra shares, which is called a stock dividend. If you could choose between an emission in cash or stocks, then you have a choice dividend.

MarB&R Beurs is proud to announce that the long lasting and successful partnership between B&R Beurs and Tielkemeijer&Partners will be continued!
Last week the board visited their headquarters to speak with mr. Tielkemeijer himself about the possibilities to continue and intensify our cooperation. He was very enthusiastic to do meaningful things for our members. The ways in which we will materialize this will be announced soon.
The partnership now exists for the 15th year. The board of 2011-2012 is appreciative about this and hopes it will continue for many more years.
