At the end of December the board received an e-mail from a group of enthusiastic students from the village Utrecht. They had in mind to found an investment society for students in Utrecht. A fantastic initiative that we as a board gladly support.
Prior to the beer-tasting we had talked to them about the structure of B&R and they were very enthousiastic about this. Therefore at the end of January the Utrecht Student Investment Society was established. From the board we think it’s interesting in the future to keep you updated on developments from elsewhere in the country.

The U.S.B.V. is an investment society for students and young professionals in Utrecht. The members share a common interest in investing, meet monthly and discuss about the economic developments, stocks, bonds and everything that comes to the table while enjoying a drink.
To improve their knowledge the member will visit companies lectures and symposia. Members have plenty of possibilities to participate in committees and to come up with own initiatives.If they don’t have that much time they are always welcome at the drinks. Of course money will be invested for real. This will be done by several investment groups where max 25 members decide about the investments. The groups will compete with each other to reach the highest result at the end of the year.
This young society with high potential will keep in contact with companies, banks and other societies. Learning, investing, networking and drinks will be the keywords at the U.S.B.V.!!
