About the Investment Week
The Investment Week aims to provide a dynamic forum for education and networking between leading financial companies and ambitious students. This exceptional experience helps students shape their future financial career by providing exposure with companies which otherwise have limited campus presence, such as hedge funds and private equity firms. This event is jointly organised by the student investment society B&R Beurs and the Financial Study association Rotterdam (FSR). It will be held from the 29th of May until the 2nd of June, with the Investment Symposium on Thursday the 1st of June.
About the Symposium
The Investment Symposium is the largest investment centred event for students in the Benelux and will take place in the second largest concert hall of the Netherlands: De Doelen in Rotterdam. During the Investment Symposium the floor is given to professionals of prestigious financial companies who will share their vision and experiences concerning this year’s theme: Breaking Boundaries. This year’s speakers include State Street and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Res Privata NV is a young and intensely ambitious Dutch hedgefund. We create alpha by performing thorough fundamental analysis of investment opportunities and combining that with sophisticated behavioral finance methods that strengthen our decision making process.
