FSR
The Financial Study association Rotterdam (FSR) is the study association for students interested in Accounting, Controlling and Finance at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. The FSR is established in 1999 through a merger between the Finance Association Rotterdam ‘Pecunia’ and the accounting & controlling association ‘Pacioli’.
The FSR has more than 1500 members, which makes it one of the biggest study associations in Rotterdam. The FSR has a close connection with the Finance and Accountancy department. The FSR is for instance organizing guest lectures for certain seminars. Besides that, the prestigious International Research Project is linked to a seminar and lecturers are joining on a study trip.
In the past the FSR has always been aware to persevere a strong and good relationship with their partners. Moreover high content and quality of FSR activities are crucial which is supported by our enthusiastic partners. The result is that our activities are a success every time again.
Of course, our members are the most important asset of the Financial Study association Rotterdam. The strong relationship with our partners and capacity group is maintained due to the high quality pool of students, which are members of the FSR. This means that study trips, business courses and company dinners always share high content which guarantees a successful FSR event.
For B&R members the following activities are extra interesting. The International Banking Cycle; this event contains ten top Investment Banks from London as Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse etc. The Corporate Finance Competition; a three-day event organised in a 5 star hotel. The Investment Banking Masterclass a two-day event with Training The Street and Barclays Capital. For the traders we organize two nationwide events, theTraders Trophy and the National Investment Competition.
